Craig has been a practising Physiotherapist for over 15 years. As the founder of Your Physio Advantage, he brings a wealth of experience to help clients on the Central Coast and has a passion to help each client move better, perform well and be pain-free.
Craig has clinical sub interest areas in the management of shoulder and knee conditions. He has completed a postgraduate Masters in Musculoskeletal and Sports physiotherapy and has previously worked with a number of professional sporting teams.
Craig’s in-depth knowledge of injuries and rehabilitation helps to assist all clients from all walks of life. Whether you are an older adult, have a disability or are an athlete, Craig provides the same high level of attention focused on your individual needs.

Esther Wignarajah
Senior Physiotherapist / Neurological Physiotherapist
Esther has been a practising physiotherapist for 8 years and has extensive experience working in adult rehabilitation units focused on orthopaedic, neurological and geriatric conditions. She initially worked in Westmead Hospital getting exposure to the public hospital setting and various health conditions, before working in private rehabilitation hospitals in Sydney for seven years.
Esther has recently completed postgraduate training to manage complex neurological conditions and has a special interest in the rehabilitation of stroke and Parkinson's disease. Esther's Master’s research project was based on goal setting practices by allied health disciplines based in the private rehabilitation hospital setting.
Esther likes to hike and is excited to explore the Central Coast's beaches, parks, and waterfalls. She also likes trying out different cuisines at restaurants and cafes as she loves to travel and would love to visit Morocco and Spain in the future. Esther has played netball, basketball and tennis leisurely and has previously lived in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Ariel Gillies
Physiotherapist
Ariel commenced her career after graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, coupled with a Bachelor of Sports and Physical Education. She has four years of experience working with clients as a qualified Physiotherapist at a private practice on the Central Coast prior to her move to Your Physio Advantage.
Ariel specialises in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, treating lower limb injuries and knee injuries. She has also worked with clients of the NDIS in the community to provide strength and conditioning programs.
Prior to her career as a Physiotherapist, Ariel earned a degree in Physical Education and worked as a sports trainer. Her love for sports was initiated during her upbringing in Canada where she grew up downhill skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. Since relocating to Australia seven years ago, Ariel has been participating in the Australian Football League.
Ariel enjoys the challenges of working with clients of all ages at Your Physio Advantage and within the Central Coast community. Each day keeps her on her toes with new challenges. She loves spending time with her clients and enjoys the privilege of being invited into their homes to provide her expertise in Physiotherapy.

We accept HICAPS payments to provide on the spot refunds from all private health insurers. Medicare rebates will be provided with a referral from your GP for a chronic disease management plan, previously known as a primary care plan.

At your first appointment, we will start with an initial assessment with questions about your pain or injury and what you wish to achieve through your physiotherapy treatment. A range of physical tests may be provided to establish your level of mobility and flexibility.
No, you do not need a referral in order to see a physiotherapist. As physiotherapists are primary healthcare practitioners you can simply call Your Physio Advantage to book an appointment.
Physiotherapists can refer patients for x-rays, ultrasounds and MRIs, however they can not order bone scans or CT scans. The only physiotherapy-referred imaging that you can receive a Medicare rebate for is x-rays of the spine and hips.
Yes, if you are covered for ancillary cover with your private health insurer then you will receive a rebate within the limits of your health insurance policy.
Physiotherapy can be covered by Medicare under certain circumstances. If you have a chronic condition (present for 6 months or longer) that requires a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM) given to you by your doctor, then you may be eligible for up to 5 Medicare funded physiotherapy treatments per year.
