What are Musculoskeletal disorders?

Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are injuries of the muscles, nerves, tendons, ligaments, joints, cartilage, or spinal discs.

What causes Musculoskeletal pain?

This pain can be caused by an acute injury, such as falls, fractures, sprains, dislocations, car accidents, and direct muscle trauma. It affects not only bones and muscles, but also ligaments, tendons and nerves.

What is the difference between physiotherapy and musculoskeletal therapy?

Physiotherapy is used for a wide range of conditions to increase range of movement and help with rehabilitation after injuries. Musculoskeletal therapy (MSK therapy) is similar to physiotherapy but uses a more hands-on approach.
