Is treatment covered by Medicare?

Physiotherapy can be covered by Medicare under certain circumstances. If you have a chronic condition (present for 6 months or longer) that requires a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM) given to you by your doctor, then you may be eligible for up to 5 Medicare funded physiotherapy treatments per year.
